At Severson Dells Nature Center inspiring moments of people connecting to nature emerge every day, thanks to your support.

2025 has been full of moments that remind us why our work matters- highlighted in the timeline around this letter. Thanks to you and the generous community that joins you in supporting Severson Dells :

• More than 10,000 people experienced the wonder of nature through education programs.
• Over 2,500 children explored the trails, creeks, & classrooms of Severson Dells through field trips and summer camps—made possible because your donations keep programs affordable for schools and families.
• When the federal government paused funding, the community’s support ensured the dedicated AmeriCorps members at Severson Dells could continue their service inspiring natural curiosity and stewardship in countless young learners.

As we celebrate our 50th year of service to the community, we are filled with gratitude for the community support and inspiration as we look to the next 50 years. Nature heals, teaches, and unifies; something we all need now maybe more than ever. With your help, Severson Dells can continue to provide the very best hands-on nature experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds and broaden our environmental stewardship as we make progress on habitat restoration on our new property.
