“Becoming a member [of Wild Roots Nature Center] helps bring a sense of pride and belonging in our community. Membership supports critical outdoor education for youth that just cannot be taught and experienced in a traditional classroom setting. Membership also provides continuing education and a better understanding of the natural areas for adults of all ages, right here in our backyards. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved to help maintain and restore the natural habitats that all creatures need to survive. What’s not to like?”
— Brett Hanson, Friends of Wild Roots
