Join us for a Guided Walk

Get outside with Severson Dells staff and volunteers on one of our many guided walks. Come prepared to be awed by the beauty of the wild areas of northern Illinois.


Please come dressed for the weather.

Upcoming Guided Walks

Cancellation Policy

To be eligible for a fee refund or transfer, SDNC requires a 48-hour advance notice for all cancellations. Eligible cancelled registrations can either be refunded or applied to another registration. All refunded registrations are charged an administrative processing fee of 10%. Only in cases of extreme weather or other extenuating circumstances will SDNC cancel a scheduled program. All programs cancelled by SDNC will receive a full refund.


Wildflower Walks

Join us in April for Wildflower Walks in partnership with Natural Land Institute

Private Guided Hikes

Guided hikes can be arranged for a private group or a corporate group. 


Non-profit groups - $5/person for up to 2 hours, $2/person for each additional hour. Minimum $50/group. 

For-profit groups- $8/person for up to 2 hours, $4/person for each additional hour. Minimum $60/group.
