Severson Dells Board Elects New Officers

Diane Kuehl is the new president of the Severson Dells Education Foundation’s board of directors for 2009. Dan Kasten is vice president.
Brenten Witherby, treasurer, and Mary Ann Toppe, secretary, were re-elected to serve one-year terms on the board of the not for profit organization.

Kuehl recently retired from Rock Valley College, where she held various
administrative positions. She earned a bachelor’s degree in speech education from Bradley University and a master’s of arts in teaching at Rockford College.
She has served on several boards and is currently involved with Phi Delta Kappa, Colonial Dames and CASA.
Kasten a Freeport native and Rockford College alum, is a licensed land surveyor
in Illinois and Wisconsin and a principal of Arnold Lundgren & Associates, a Rockford, Ill.-based civil engineering and land surveying company.
He has served on Rockford College’s Alumni Board for six years.
