Join Meghan Bowe, Program Specialist from the University of Illinois Extension Winnebago County for a fun lesson on how to setup and maintain your own worm composting system.
Each family will make and take their own completed worm composting bin. All supplies will be provided - including the worms! This workshop will cover all the “ins and outs” of worm composting. Learn how to create and care for your bin and how to recycle your kitchen food waste into a valuable fertilizer compost for your garden and house plants.
9:00 am - Noon in the Clarcor Building at Klehm. Cost: $15 per family
