1 Mile Course Map (pdf)

Course Description

The 5k course begins on about 500m of paved road. The course then circles the paved nature path through the woods and past the pond. Both of these paved areas include some gently rolling hills. Soon after beginning the unpaved trails, runners will reach the mile mark while passing a meadow. They will then enter the woods after crossing a small wooden bridge. The next mile of trails includes another bridge and hills as runners traverse through the woods. When runners exit the woods at about the 2 mile mark, they will cross another bridge and pass the water stop before they run through another meadow back to the paved loop. After the paved loop, runners will run next to a meadow around the shelter house before they run back on the road to the finish line near the nature center.

The 1 mile course begins on about 500m of road before the participants scamper next to the meadow around the shelter house. Participants will then circle a little more than half the nature path past the pond and through the woods. The participants will exit the nature path near the nature center to view the butterfly garden before they finish.
